Dove Recovery House for Women is committed to empowering women to become sober, self-sufficient, and healthy by providing quality programming, safe and sober housing, and above all, hope for their future.
Since Dove House’s inception, promoting equitable access to effective treatment and comprehensive healthcare services for underserved women has been at the core of our mission. Dove House promotes equitable access to treatment through strategic partnerships. Dove House also addresses health disparities by promoting equitable access to health care. Dove House enrolls all women in healthcare coverage so that they can access primary care, behavioral health services, and other specialty care. This ensures that women can access health care services for preventative care or receive treatment to manage any chronic diseases, which contribute to health disparities. Each woman is matched with a therapist and Peer Recovery Specialist to navigate creating their treatment plan and accessing resources to assist them on their self-sufficiency journey.
Dove House is in a period of growth to meet the demand for high quality substance use services for women specifically. Dove House’s 40-bed residential facility in Marion County is at capacity with over 120 women currently on the waiting list. Dove House just completed a capital campaign that will expand our Marion County facility to add 15 additional beds in 2024.
